Chief Medical Technologist
* Represent the Head Pathologist during Hospital Meeting
* Oversees the daily activities of the Laboratory
* Review with the Section Chief, problems encounter per section
* Prepares the Monthly and Annual Reports of the Laboratory
* Check the Quality Assurance Program of each section
* Take charges of all Laboratory requisitions (supplies & reagents)
* Submit analysis of performance evaluation of different Laboratory
Instruments and reagents to the Head Pathologist
* Recommend administrative sanctions such as suspension, expulsion or
promotion of his subordinates
* Performs routine and special tests in the laboratory
* Machine Handled : Cobas Mira Plus, Cobas Micros, Sysmex KX-21,
Teco 84, 614 Na & K Analyzer, Bactec 9240, CH30 Olympus Microscope,
Beckman Refrigerated Centrifuge (J8-HC), Sure steps Glucose Machine,
Glucometer Elite, Coag-a-mate XM, QBC Machine (Malaria), Immunofuge
II (Cell Washer), Grant Waterbath, Roche EIA Analyzer
Medical Technologist
* Perform all routine blood chemistry such as Blood sugar, BUN,
Creatinine, Cholesterol, Liver function test, electrolytes and many more.
* Perform special chemistry such as Glycated Hemoglobin, Fructosamine,
Drug assay (Therapeutic/Abuse), Acid phosphates, Stone Analysis (Urinary/Gall bladder), CYA level, SCC, PSA, CA-15 and many more.

* Perform Complete Blood Count (CBC), ESR, Platelet count, Retics count,

* Perform Laboratory Inventories, Census and Quality Assurance Program
* Train Medical Technologists Extern and Interns
