Provided Implementation Services for Computer Associates clients :
Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR, Philippines) Implemenatation Consultant: Configured Prioris Servers to serve as the bureau’s Enterprise Systems Management Server, managing their Sun Servers, Oracle Database, and monitoring their network , using CA’s Response Manager Option. We also implemented Unicenter TNG’s Security Management Option during the Second Phase of the project. The project involves a distributed security implementation from head office up to the Regional District offices, around the Philippines.
International Exchange Bank (IEBank, Philippines) Implementation Consultand: Installed and supported CA’s Unicenter TNG , the project implementation of the core management of their DEC Unix Servers. During the implementation , we customized some policies and created some Shell scripts , to monitor the Unix Servers , when CPU utilizations, memory and disk space utilizations reached warning / critical threshold , that will pro-actively notify the Systems Administrator . We also configured Systems Agent to monitor log files on their Windows NT and Unix Servers for possible errors.
International Container Terminal Incorporated (ICTSI, Philippines Implementation Consultant: Performed value-added services for Computer Associates Philippines Unicenter TNG Implementation. We worked primarily with Compaq Proliant Servers, Microsoft SQL, and IBM AS400 Systems. We installed and configured Unicenter TNG to manage their SAP application (using Unicenter TNG SAP Option) , monitor their in-house application , using MS SQL , using Database Agents, we configured these agents to monitor their Database’s services, devices, and critical database tables. Part of the Base TNG implementation , we also configured System Agents to monitor their AS400 Systems, these agents monitors the CPU Utilization, Hard disk space and jobs running on the systems. For their network management , we installed and configured Unicenter TNG’s Response Management Option to monitor their Cisco Router that connects the Manila office and Batangas office, and 3Com Switches/hubs. Help them in assigning IP address to these devices and enabling the SNMP services . With these solutions , they were able to monitor the response time of users , monitors connectivity from switches/hubs to the workstations.
Part of the desktop management , we installed and configured Software Delivery Option for Software Distribution, they used this solution to update their in-house Billing application clients remotely , and install other desktop applications using this software distribution software. And also part of the desktop management implementation, we have implemented Asset Management Option of Unicenter TNG , for their hardware and software inventory. Using AMO , we configured Software metering to meter the licenses of their licensed software application and we also used this to prevent users from running games on their PC’s .
China Trust Bank (Philippines): Implementation Consultant :
Implemented Unicenter TNG to manage their HP AIX Servers, Sybase Database . During the implementation we have defined policies in Unicenter TNG to notify the administrators , when System agents threshold reached warning levels.
Most of our work was with the desktop implementation of the following Unicenter TNG Options , Sofware Delivery Option, Asset Management Option and Anti-Virus Option. The scope of the project involves only the main office and 1 remote office. We have consumed only 55% of the total allotted mandays for the whole project. As an added value-service, we help their technical group in implementing the Unicenter TNG Option in the remaining 15 branches. During the implementation , we used the 3 option in conjunction with each other to implement the whole desktop management project. We implemented first the Software distribution option and later used it to deploy Anti-Virus options to their remote Servers and workstation.
Microcircuits Systems International (MSI, Philippines) (January 1995 to July 1997)

Much of my work was with Compaq and Datamini PC’s and servers, Genius LAN products hardware, HP printers , Calcomp Plotters, Hayes modems and supporting Microsoft software. My primary focus was pre-sale and post-sale support for the company products.
