WORK EXPERIENCE
Olsten Health Services - Regional Systems Engineer 1997-Present
Responsible for maintaining and repairing all computer systems in the Central United States. Duties include phone support, on-site support, user training, and voice administration for a Meridian Mail system. My duties also include network security for over 300 employees. The equipment being used on the network consists of Compaq PCs, IBM PCs, Hewlett Packard PCs and Digital Vts (320, 420, 520). I am also responsible for coordinating office moves both internal and external. Responsible for coordinating with outside vendors for the purchase and maintenance of computer equipment.
CDI (Contract) Site Team Leader 1996-1997
A member of the IBM/Mobil Oil standardization team. Responsible for bringing three Mobil Oil Plants in Beaumont, Texas into a Standard Managed Environment (SME). This includes leading a team in the interviewing and assessing end user software and hardware needs, for over 3000 employees; installing needed software and hardware to bring all users up to SME standards. Hardware use includes Novell NetWare servers and workstations. Software consists of a variety of different programs and applications, some of which are MS Office, Lotus Notes, Netscape, Word, and Power Point. Also responsible for limited end user training/support, ensuring all users have a basic understanding of hardware/software usage.
