The China Post, Taiwan's leading English newspaper, seeks an editor for its advertising department. The editor's duties will include:
* Assessing and condensing company press releases for use in the Consumer Highlights section (approximately 90 percent of the press releases are in English while about 10 percent are in Chinese);
* Proofreading advertisements;
* Occasionally interviewing members of the business community and writing short articles based on those interviews;
* Cooperating with members of The China Post's advertising and graphic design departments.
Qualifications
* At least two years of experience in journalism
* Proficiency in editing, writing and speaking English
* Ability to translate Chinese to English
