Supports manufacturing in the start up of a new coating facility designed for high volume automotive products.
Supports manufacturing in the resolution of coating manufacturing issues.
Provides manufacturing with tools and engineering support to implement new products into production.
Leads coating process design functions to determine product flow through the manufacturing cell by use of current engineering and continuous improvement techniques.
Analyzes various product structures and processes in order to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce manufacturing costs.
Performs Design of Experiment (DOE) analysis to determine optimum operating parameters.
Supports of business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or physics
Experience with high vacuum thin film deposition coatings
Coating experience with ITO, Chrome, Rhodium, or silver preferred
Demonstrated basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts
Demonstrated strong communication skills
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to influence decisions that affect assigned projects.
