Job description:
Working under the supervision of the Administrator, the Assistant Administrator will provide support in the set-up of the mission. This will involve assisting in all legal registration procedures, gathering relevant logistic information, legal research and implementation of administrative procedures. After training period, he /she will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Cash-book keeping
- Payment follow-up. Treasury forecasts.
- Verification and preparation of supporting documents (invoices, receipts, cash-books...)
- Data entry and verification
- Dissemination of budget follow-up information
- Payroll preparation and payment (BIR, SSS...)
- Human resources management and follow-up
- Ensuring the compliance with all relevant legal requirements
- Preparing Financial Reports for institutional donors
Profile:
- Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Accountancy / Business Management
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a very important asset
- Fluent in Oral and Written English, knowledge of Spanish and/or French is an asset
- Sound knowledge of Windows, MS OFFICE (Excel and Word) and Web software (Email, Internet Explorer). Experience in computerized accountancy an asset
- Ability to work under pressure, in a team and independently
- Working experience in a related field (minimum 2 years) , preferably acquired in N.G.O.’s
