The position requires managing servers, PC and network infrastructure. The following is a describtion of the network infrastructure.
Must have knowledge of the following: Cisco Routers (2600, 3600, and 7200 series), Cisco Switches (2000, 4000, and 6000 series), Cisco PIX firewall, Cisco Localdirector, Compaq Servers (all Proliant models), SMS 2.0 knowledge of the full TCP/IP suite of protocols and it's associated utilities, Cat 5 cabling, LAN/WAN technologies, switched and shared Ethernet, SQL Server, Exchange Server (IMS, information store, etc), IIS, SNMP, Frame Relay, Sniffer Pro, Concord Network Health, HP Openview for NT, Ghost, PPP, PPTP, Citrix, Linux, HTTP, HTTPS, server performance and optimization, clustering, Storage Area Networks, multiple backup technologies, and associated Internet Technologies
