The ERP Specialist must be proficient in manufacturing domain and should have good
Understanding of the manufacturing environment. They must be proficient in atleast one of the following skills in JD Edwards , Mfg-Pro or BaaN . Knowledge of Prism, BPCS , Mapics and advantis is also highly desirable . The ERP specialist must have the ability to understand manufacturing business requirements, from product forecasting, MPS, MRP, Engineering, Work Order and Purchase Order Management, and Shop Floor Automation. Knowledge of Financial systems would be a plus.
Experience providing project management and technical expertise in the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP). Must have gone through atleast one implementation in a major ERP implementation.
Experience in user requirements, configuration, and implementation of several modules in an ERP implementation.
Should have an understanding of financial, manufacturing, or distribution Processes in a manufacturing set-up.
Previous experience in converting from a legacy, to a Tier 1 ERP software package is highly desirable.
Application administration experience ( not system administration ) in a end user environment .
The candidate must have minimum three years of professional experience in hardware design or embedded development environment . Excellent problem solving abilities ,good communication skills and teamwork are critical . The candidate must have a a BS degree in Electronics ,Computer Science; MS preferred.
