EFC Engineers & Architects Corporation is looking for a Civil/Structural AutoCAD Designer. Should be a team-orientated person with good communication skills, who is able to work well with people under minimum supervision.
Applicants should have an engineering degree or technical training, and at least five years experience in an engineering or architectural office.
Job duties include preparing engineering drawings for civil and structural engineering design projects. In addition, should be able to assist Project Engineers & Architects in preparing calculations, schedules, construction cost estimates, hand sketches, construction inspection and other related duties as assigned. At a minimum the candidate shall be fully capable of performing civil design and detailing utilizing AutoCAD 2000 Land Development Desktop R2.
Annual salary will start at a minimum of $20,000 US with additional salary based on the number of the following needs that the candidate can fill:
1. Perform structural engineering design & detailing.
2. Utilize ETABS, CONKER, and WALLER for structural design.
3. Utilize STAAD for structural design.
4. Utilize ENERCALC for structural design.
5. Familiar with UBC 1997, IBC 2000, ACI 318-95 and AISC/ASD 9th Edition or LRFD, as they relate to design of concrete, masonry and steel structures.
6. Ability to use Haestad Methods WaterCAD and SewerCAD.
7. Experience with three-dimensional modeling and rendering with Auto CADD 2000, 3D Studio Viz, and Auto CADD 2000 Architectural Desktop.
8. Ability to produce hand drawn artist renderings of buildings and projects.
