Plum Briefings seeks news writers with excellent English reading/writing skills to work roughly 3 hours a day, up to five days a week, as part of a news creation team for our telephone audio briefing service. The position would entail identifying pertinent, in-depth, industry-specific business news, and then creating short, 3 to 5 sentence news articles for audio recording. Hours would be between 5 - 8 PM (Philippine Time); compensation is USD $3/hr. While Plum is based in New York, the work can be done from any location -- only an Internet connection and a PC with Internet Explorer and AOL IM are required. Broadband Internet connections are recommended, but not required. Content developers are expected to learn about the fields they cover on the job and to develop expert knowledge on specialized industries.
