The Pacific Group in the Philippines is seeking an aggressive self-starter to help implement our new Quality Assurance Software Testing Division. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems and activities including full life cycle testing of software applications and software integration projects and must be able to ensure the proper sense of urgency is applied consistently for each new product or project . This individual must be a team player and maintain open lines of communication with all areas within the firm. The candidate must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as exemplified by clear bug/issue explanations, documentation of knowledge, and effective intra- and inter-group communications.
Experience: Should have experience in full life-cycle test methodology including, writing of formal test plans, test descriptions and procedures and preparation of test data. He/she must have experience in performing and testing web based software solutions. The ideal candidate will not only be a hands on individual but will have a breath of experience to manage and develop standard processes and procedures that will enable and maintain high quality products. He/she will be able to leverage their past experience in developing scripts, test beds to perform and help maintain an zero defect initiative with all of the companies products. Experience with Q/A simulation tools is mandatory. This is a leadership position for world wide operations which is headquarter in the North America with its primary Q/A operations in the Philippines. Must have experience coordinating efforts across multiple functional areas of the organization and world. Must have a solid knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, SQL, FuseBox, and ColdFusion.
