Description : Bug tracking system is a web-based application for tracking bugs generated during development of various projects as well as various business issues related to design and development. The following functional requirements are covered in the application. Creation of bugs, tracking of them at different stages and closing them after all issues are settled. Various points / matters that are deliberated during the life cycle of a bug, storing and retrieving different documents that are generated during the process. Provide up-to-date information to users on bugs/issues to enable them to assess the quality of software as well as status of the project. ETS is a multi-user Application that is user-friendly providing security features. ETS stores the errors entered by the quality team after testing the product. It helps the testing team rather than entering in word document manually. Historical information can be retrieved to find out the queries or reports for the project. Using this status information is only having access to privileged people like Project Manager who approves it. It provides security features like restricting certain information based on the type of user. ETS not only stores the error data but also helps in coordinating between team members of the project sharing the information.
