As part of Pentamedia one of the major project is www.numtv.com, which is a portal for webcasting.As a system engineer, I am responsible for the smooth operation of webcasting. As this project relies on bandwidth, effective management of streams on particular leased and DSL lines are very important. Responsible for live web casting projects inside India. Technical survey at clients place for availability of resources and the way they need the service from us, establishing net connectivity to the encoder at the clients place and creation of the new stream in the media servers are primary tasks.
