INTRUDUCTION:
After my SSLC I did Diploma in Civil Engineering in Murugappa Polytechnic [Autonomous Institution] Between 1985 and 1989.After gaining eight years of working experience from various fields like constructions, Planning, Procurement, Contracts and Quantity Surveying, I had up-graded my qualification to BE [Civil] from Anna University-Chennai under part time between 1997 and 2000. Soon after I have joined in Reliance Group as quantity surveyor. Presently Iam Lead for QSD for Karnataka & Goa States OFC Projects implemented by Reliance Infocom.

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT:
Leading QSD-Team for Karnataka & Goa States [10 member team handling Rs.25 lakhs worth of bills per day] OFC projects implemented by Reliance Infocom Limited & other projects implementing by group companies.

Evaluation and certification of contract monthly running bills, final bills, WO closure free issue material reconciliation, etc.

Formulating guidelines, formats, documentation, etc. for contract monthly running bills in line with the drawings, specifications and approvals.

Monitoring the billing status in line with the scope of works allotted to the contractors by using in house developed software of CBS*

Generating various customized reports using the software CBS, like Contractor wise up to date billing for each items, Stretch wise up to date billing for each line items, balance scope yet to be billed, etc

Inspecting the work sites frequently all over Karnataka & GAO states, to check the progress of work in line with the bills for both quantitatively & qualitatively.

Attending Joint meeting with construction group, Procurement group, Design group and Accounts to present/resolve the queries raised by QSD in line with the bills, drawings, specifications and approvals.
