Project profile

TITLE : ReportSuite

Description

The main purpose of this project is to enable the user to view, edit, mail, and archive spool information. Spool information is a very important source of data for Packaging & Delivery department of any Multinational Company.

This department daily receives an average of 200 to 1000 bills Pertaining to Invoice, Delivery etc in the form of 'Spool Files' to their local AS400 system. These files need to be printed before they can be seen and once they are on paper these cannot be edited/mailed/faxed/archived/searched etc. So, as a solution this Application intercepts the Spool and gets all the yet to be printed files to the local NT System. These files are then categorized based on their content and overlaid onto the respective ’Report Templates’. During this process the 'Printer Data' is separated and only the text part is indexed and the overlay file compressed and this information are stored in a Database.
‘Spool source as a true resource to the organization’.

This component designed to interact Database Oracle, MS- Access and Ms-SQL Server. Whenever the Application starts automatically it will fetching the data from database as well as update the data and indexing file into database.

Title : Query Based Processing (QBP)

These modules mainly designed for maintaining central data repository unit for entire application .It detecting the object from the template and fetching the actual data from their corresponding source unit (Spool and Database) and maintain the repository. It dynamically processes the object by providing the value from this repository and routing into printing, faxing and storing document into database.

TITLE : Variable Data Printing (VDP)
This module is mainly designed for fetch the data from all kind of Database simultaneously like Oracle, MS-SQL and MS-Access etc for processing. This providing the interface to map the Report field into Database including all RDBMS constraint and user defined conditions (optional). It will automatically validate the query, giveback the result set to the user as well as application and provide the output settings so that it can be easily Stored in the Application Database, Mailing, Faxing and printing to user specified settings.

Responsibilities

1. To strengthen the team which was working on the product from past 1 Year.
2. To share the workload of other senior people involved in the development of product.
3. To develop the strategy for design, development, implementation and deployment of Generic Version of ReportSuite.
4. Reverse Engineering the product and building up the documentation from the scratch.
5. Taking of care of memory management, which was major problem of software.

1. I was able to reduce the workload and add strength to the Senior People involved in the development to product..
2. With in a very short time I was a major contributing member of the team.
3. Successfully developed the documentation of the project right from the scratch.

Description

The main goal of these modules is recruiting a candidate for the Organization and to maintain the complete history of the employees. We deal with two modules.
1. Recruitment Procedure
2. Online Examination

The main aim of the recruitment procedure is to have profile of a candidate on net by giving a code to each candidate for future communications with the department. Here profile consists of details of the candidate for further communications with the department. Here profile consists of details of the candidate experience, passport, projects, photo and personal information. Department can add, delete or update profile. Finally one department can give requisition to another department indicating that this particular department requires so and so candidates in specific skills and can have authorization to hire candidates.

The aim of this module is writing online exam on the net, if one candidate wants to write an exam, the authorized personnel of this module have to generate U-id and password, submit this information to the candidate. The candidate will go through this information and write the exam. Here online examination consists of two sub modules. One is candidate module and second one is administrative module. The candidate module is for the candidates those who got the U-id and
password from the administrative personnel. In the administration module the authorized personnel can modify delete or add to the question bank. Finally we can find whether the candidate has got through the exam.
