DESCRIPTION

In an industry a card called kanban (It is electronic card which is used to inform the workload to the supervisor from the higher authority) recognizes the incoming workload. The lot size of the given work load is identified and accordingly manufactured. With the help of the card, identification of the work is perfectly identified and also when compared with other manual operator, time duration is reduced. Hence this card is used to increase the manufacturing rate of the products in due time.

INPLANT TRAINING

Done at Neyveli Lignite Corporation, plant-II, Neyveli.
This company provides at most of 1200 kilowatts of power to the southern part of India. Its main advantage is the fuel, which is taken from the ground below as lignite, which is cheaper and efficient too. in this I had the entire plant training, with a special training in boiler and turbine section for a month.

i) Ashok Leyland, Hosur.
It is the one of leading manufactures of trucks, lorries in India. This company manufactures the entire engine and some accessories, all other remaining parts are brought and are well assembled in a designed model.

ii) Gabriel Shocks, Hosur.
This is a company in which shock absorber are produced and being distributed to the entire industrial zone in the southern region (hosur). Their work involves mostly assembling the parts of the shock absorber which has been brought form various other industries.
