INSTRUMENTATION EXPERIENCE
1. Manual training on workbench, use of hand and measuring tools, re-sharping of tools. Use of power hack raw.

JOB DESCRIPTION OF MR. DEEPAK KUMAR (J.E.)
GROZ – BECKERT ASIA PVT. LTD.
1. He will be responsible for smooth and efficient functioning of the departments under his charge.
2. He will be responsible to achieve the quantity wise production targets as per the laid down quality standards.
3. He will be responsible to take all necessary steps for quality assurance of the products. To achieve this he will ensure:-
a) He will approve the setting of machine and needle produced.
b) He will check frequently the running machines.
c) He will study the daily wastage report and take measures to reduce wastage and repair percentage.
d) He will follow up the defects shown by the Q.C. department with concerned Setters and workmen to prevent the re occurrence.
e) He will ensure that all workers follow the checking instructions given to them.
4. He will be responsible for ensuring proper needle flow by:
a) Work Scheduling on machines.
b) Adjusting manpower on machines.
c) Smooth supply to the next operation.
d) Lot wise completion of production
e) Control of stock of needles before the department.
5. He shall be responsible to maintain proper discipline in the department:
a) Control movement of workers going out of department.
b) Check unnecessary over crowding cloak rooms by workers.
c) Ensure authorized uniforms and protective clothing are worn by all.
d) Create harmonious and pleasant atmosphere in the department.
e) Execution of all instruction given to shop floor from time to time.
6. he shall be responsible for man power planning of his department which shall include:
a) Shift planning and preparation of shift schedule to give to the shift-in-charge to be forwarded to the Personal department.
b) Leave plan of workers and forwarded for sanction of leave to shift in-charge/dept. head with his recommendations.
7. He shall be responsible for technical efficiency of his department and ensure:
a) Check and ensure preventive maintenance schedules of machine and coordinate with maintenance department.
b) Maximize machine capacity utilization.
c) Solve technical problems of the department together with PCDM & Dett. In Charge.
d) Raise and follow up Job orders for repair, maintenance and breakdown of machines and tools to services department after approval from shift in-charge.
8. He shall be responsible for proper house keeping in the department.
a) Keep department shop floor neat, clean and orderly.
b) Up keep, maintenance and proper storage of all measuring instruments and tools.
9. He shall also be responsible for the following:
a) To pass instructions in the Shift log book and ensure smooth shift change over.
b) Ensuring safety of company’s technical documents of the department.
c) Indenting of materials and consumables from Stores department.
10. He shall be responsible for training, development and performance appraisal of his Workers as under:
a) Workers skill and performance development.
b) Initiating reports on trainees, probationers and performance appraisal of workers.
11. He will be responsible for the safety in the department and
a) Check all safety arrangements on routine basis and get the defects rectified if there is any defect.
b) Teach the workmen about the importance and usage of safety system in the department.
c) Make suggestions if some changes are required.
12. He shall be responsible for coordination with concerned PCDM and other departments and sub sections within his department.
