IOC – BP Amoco, Rhum Project
Senior Process/project Engineer working on Rhum gas/condensate field. Working on FEED verification in IOC office in Tehran. The responsibilities are included the verification of Flow Assurance Report and Performing the economical studies using PIPESYM and in-house Economic Evaluation Model.
The project is to produce 300 MMscfd of gas from Rhum Gas/Condensate field. This field is located in Northern North Sea, Block 3/29a, about $420 million project.

Khuff Wellhead Treatment plants project - Worley Limited Qatar - Qatar
April 2002 -- June 2002

Senior Process Engineer working on khuff Wellhead Treatment plant facilities project. Working on FEED verification and detail design in Worley Engineering office in Qatar. Responsibilities had included the simulation of Natco and BS&B typical plants, carrying out a complete heat and mass balance using HYSYS. Sizied the required indirect water bath type inline heaters for seven Natco and Bs&B plants. Hydrualic studies for the new inlet and outlet lines of inline heaters. Generating cause and effect charts for the inline heaters. Calculating the required methanol injection for hydrate formation prevention during the cold start up. Reviewed PFD & P&IDS. Preparing line list and Data Sheets for Heaters.

IOC – BP Amoco, Rhum Project– Aberdeen
Senior Process/project Engineer working on Rhum gas/condensate field. Working on various development scenarios in BP office. During the Pre-Feed/Concept selection phase responsibilities had included the simulation of the complete system, carrying out a complete heat and mass balance using “HYSYS”. Infield and main gas lines sizing using “PIPESYM”, Developed PFDS utilized “HYSYS” to estimate hydrocarbon inventory, investigated hydrate formation points, feasibility studies on using TEG, MEG, Methanol hydrate inhibitor injections and injection requirements. Sized chemical pumps, and injection lines. Performing the economical studies and cost compares using “QUESTOR” and in-house Economic Evaluation Model.
The project is to produce 300 MMscfd of gas from Rhum Gas/Condensate field. This field is located in Northern North Sea, Block 3/29a, about $350 million project.
LG/OIEC, South Pars/ Tabnak / Bidboland Gas Projects (On a part time basis)
March 2000 - June 2001
Project/process Engineer involved in the preparation of inputs and documents for the various proposals and tender inputs for the company. Working on the part time basis on various projects such as TABNAK, BIDBOLAND, and SOUTH PARS phases 9,10,11,12 gas projects. In these projects co-operation had been focused on provision of technical/commercial proposals for National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC).
These projects are planned to produce about 1 Bscfd of gas each.

Process Engineer working on South Pars phase I offshore Gas field, Working on Detailed Design offshore at Technip office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Responsibilities included the review of vendor documents/ drawing for package items, co-ordination with other related engineering groups (piping / Mechanical / Instrumentation), Capacity and sizing Check on the dehydration package and separation system using Shell Design and Engineering Standards, reviewed PFD & P&IDS, dehydration vessels and all in-line instrument data sheets. Checked the requirement and sizing of relief valves.
The Project is to produce 1 Bscfd of gas from South Pars Phase I, Separation, offshore Dehydration, and directing the treated gas onshore for further processing.

Working on FEED and Involved in preparation of inputs, review design, process and facilities optimisation in Dorood offshore/onshore Buy-Back project. Other Responsibilities in this project included reviewing PFD and P&IDS during FEED phase, Capacity check on the compression system using Ea (Engineering Aid, Process Simulator), review of vendor documents/ drawing for package items and make recommendation on the fuel gas system in ELF office, Paris, FRANCE.
The project is throughput enhancement from 170000 bbl/d to 220000 bbl/d of oil by using gas/water injection into reservoir. $850 million project
NIOC/Total Fina Elf, Balal Buy-Back Project
Working on FEED. Reviewed PFD & P&ID & UFDS using API 14C and make recommendation on separation system, waste water system and also reviewed the FEED documents in BALAL Buy-Back project.

The project is to produce 40000 BPD of oil from Balal field, offshore separation, and directing the crude oil onshore for further processing. The value of this project is about $300 million.

Involved with various pre-projects activities. Checking process design documents, Master Development Plan (MDP) and pre-qualification of contractors.
Performing the economical studies, conceptual study and make recommendation on Master Development Plan (MDP) in Esfandiar Buy-Back project.
Performing preliminary process and economical studies in Foroozan Buy-Back project.
NIOC/IOOC, Relocation of Main Flares in Kharq Island
Involved in preparation of scope of work for relocation of two main flares (Petro Chemical Co. -N.I.O.C. -OFFSHORE project) using API 521.
The project included the relocation of two IOOC’s existing flares in Kharq Island, IRAN.

NIOC/IOOC, Aboozar Production Increase Project
Involved in verification and studies on turbo pumps and oil production system, adequacy analysis of equipment and piping systems for revamp jobs. Tie –up process integrity check for utilities and off sites with process plant. Prepare preliminary installation procedures and schedules, and hydraulic analysis of existing pipeline. Other Responsibilities in this project included developing PFD and P&IDS.
Project included the installation of a turbo pump to enhance throughput on Aboozar platform, Kharq Island, Iran.
