PROJECT DETAILS

1). HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANY – SOUTH KOREA

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project is an onsite Project. This project is done at HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANY – SOUTH KOREA. Project includes modeling and assembly of engine components using Pro Engineer. The project consisted of 6 engines. Each engine contains more than 200 components. The project includes machining, casting parts, Surface models, Plastic components and huge assemblies.

DURATION: 2 Months (From August 2000 to October 2000)

ROLE:

I was one of the team members. I have modeled many complicated components like engine Cover, Case oil pump, Protector heat cover, Manifolds etc.

2). MANUFACTURING INTEGRATION TECHNOLOGY, SINGAPORE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Project includes data migration of 2D drawings into 3D parametric modeling using Pro / Engineer. The project consisted of around 2500 components and 300 Assemblies. Migration includes machining Parts, Surface models, sheet metal parts, and Huge assemblies. The project data was managed using Pro / intralink.

DURATION : One Month

ROLE

I was a core member of the team and responsible for modeling and assembly of various complicated components of Semi Conductor Manufacturing Machines. I have done many models with more than 250 features.

3). JOHN DEERE, GERMANY

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Project includes Re – Engineering, Design work for John Deere (Mannheim), Germany. The entire components of John Deere tractors which is used for agricultural purposes are being migrated from PCADAM to Pro / Engineer. Migration includes casting parts, surface models sheet metal parts, Assemblies and detailing. So far around 600 Components like engine components, Transmission components had been migrated.

DURATION : 4 Months

ROLE

I was core member of the team. I have modeled many complicated components with more than 300 features. I have done completely parametric models of casting components like Rear axle housing, Clutch casing, Arm Hydraulic lift etc.

4). SCHINDLER & KRAUSS – MAFFEI, GERMANY

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Executed for Schindler and Krauss – Maffei, Germany. Conversion of 2D Auto Cad drawings into parametric solid modeling using Pro / Engineer. Migration includes fabrication parts, and sheet metal parts.

DURATION : 2 Months

ROLE

I was a core member of the team and involved in modeling and detailing of machining and sheet metal components.

5). TRACTOR AND FARM EQUIPMENT LTD. (TAFE), CHENNAI.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This is an onsite Project work. Project includes data migration of 2D – Auto Cad drawings into Parametric modeling using Pro / Engineer for different series of TAFE Tractors.

DURATION : June 1999 to June 2000

ROLE

I was one of the team member and involved in modeling, detailing and assembly of casting and machining components like hydraulic lift cover, Brake housing, center housing, etc. I have done models with more than 1000 features.
