Career Objective

Job Activities

Vendor Development
 Development of Vendors includes following activities
 Obtaining drawing and samples & Selection of potential sources
 Floating enquiry for Technical & Commercial Proposal
 Understanding process at vendor's end &Co-coordinating with R&D for changes if needed
 Comparing commercial proposals & analysis of pricing principles
 Negotiating with vendors and setting Prices
 Evaluation of Samples
 Co-ordination with Quality & R&D before releasing of Purchase Order
 Creating awareness to vendors in terms of Quality, Production & Supply chain process

Procurement
 Procurement of P&M, MRO components, Contracts having following activities.
 Scheduling of components based on the inventory norms and production targets
 Follow-up for supplies against schedule for Annual orders
 Follow-up with vendors for cost reduction by further localization of child parts, process and design change
 Understanding engineering changes in co-operation with R&D

Warehouse and Inventory Management
 Receipt & issue controls on system.
 Stock control and subsequent alerts, Monitor the inventory, Slow and non-moving items
 Carrying out periodic Inventories and fixing ROL based EOQ
 Periodic presentation of the Material consumption reports based on Activity base costing and performance based consumption to the top management whenever required.

Production Planning
 Correlate CRP ( Capacity requirement planning) & DPC (Despatch planning Control)
 Ensure men, materials and machine requirement for day to day production
 Took responsibility for Materials department in daily production meeting
 Co-ordinate with production, Quality, Materials and Marketing department to ensure smooth operation

Computerization and consultation
 Be an active team member while preparing computerized business solution
 Prepared Algorithm for Material flow process
 Participated with the team for preparing software requirement specification
 Preparation of MRP, CRP, DRP, JIT tools modules for development.
