CAREER HISTORY:

More than 16 years’ experience in the field of Seafood Inspections with expertise in Fish Processing and Quality Control. This includes bacteriological analysis of marine products as well as in HACCP & QM programs and GMP Inspections. I also have sound knowledge of sensory evaluation of seafood quality. I am involved in preparation of Saudi Standards for fish and fishery products and conducting training programs. I possess effective communication and report writing skills towards the excellent execution of quality management.

• Supervision and control of all activities in the fish processing plant.
• Sanitary inspection of processing plant
• Implementation of HACCP concept
• Preparing Saudi Standards for fish and fishery products
• Conducting training programs for newly recruited employees
in seafood handling and preservation, personal hygiene and food
poisoning, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and sanitation
procedures (SSOPs), seafood spoilage, organoleptic evaluation of
seafood quality, seafood nutrition, merchandising and customer
service, and sales registration.
• Inspection of the company’s retail outlets:
a) To check the quality of all varieties of fish and fishery products (chilled, frozen, dried, salted, canned, smoked, value added and ready-to-eat) by using sensory evaluation methods and bacteriological tests,
b) To check the personal hygiene of the sales personnel
and the sanitary condition of the premises and
equipment,
c) To check whether the cooling equipment is functioning
effectively to maintain the appropriate temperature
constantly.
• Submission of Quality Inspection and Hygiene Reports on a daily basis after inspecting the retail outlets.
• Supervision and control of Hygiene team and pest control division.
