Nature of duties:

· Maintaing Local, Interstate & International Lease Links of up to 2Mbps with a Channel medium of both VSAT & Coaxial.
· To establish the end-to-end connectivity through ISDN (64 or 128Kbps) on the failure of Leased Links using BRI-Interface.
· Configuring and establishing dial-up using codex 3266 or Multitech modems on the failure of leased lines.
· Basic connectivity, utilisation & optimisation of Cisco Router-2500, 4000,1600,2600,3600 & 7500 series.
· Configured Cisco 3500 Catalyst Switches.
· Testing the basic connectivity of E&M,FXS, FXO & E1 ports both at router side as well as Epabx side.
· Testing & utilisation, for the absolute error free, of newly commissioned data circuits by co-ordinating with VSNL & MTNL PCM either by testing the digital loop from A or B or intermediate end, from the modem itself.
· Extensive Knowledge of LAN.
· Monitoring the IVRS of the bank & generating the IVRS Reports.
· Worked on high range Modems of up to 2Mbps having either V35 or G703 interface.
· Familiarization with AS400, Tandem, IVRS connectivity and operations.
· Operating Avaya’s Definity EPABX Version G3siv9.
· Extended knowledge of the Cabling structure of the Bank, which is AT&T, certified.
· Monitoring the status of all India ATMs of ABN AMRO BANK on TANDEM Switch and taking the appropriate steps to resolve the problem in case of any failure.
· Maintaing the Call Centre(Phone Banking) consisting of more than 25 Agents of which calls also coming on VOIP.
· Good Hands on Experience on Avaya Platform (Definity)

Responsibilities: -
I am Placed at Abn Amro Bank’s HUB Centre where I am totally responsible for all the Telecom activities like coordinating with other branches in case of Failure of Leased Lines, Handling IVRS, Call Centres etc.


Projects Handled

1) VOIP:-
ABN AMRO Bank is having 10 Branches across India connected through Leased Line.I was actively involved in implementing Voice Over Internet Protocol across all branches some on E1 interface & rest on E&M. Configuration involved both sides Router as well as Definity Epabx.

2) 24 Hours Call Centre: -
Designed a network of Centralised Call Centre for Delhi & then implemented it successfully. Job involved a lot of Fine tuning as the calls from all the cities were routed to the central place on our VOIP Network. Designing the Call Flow for all centers , Standardizing the VDN numbers , Splits , ACD Login Codes etc.

1) Cisco Routers and Switches also little Knowledge of Cisco IGX.
2) Avaya’s Definity G3R V9.5 , Definity G3Si V9.5 and v 6.5 , With Call Centre Suit like Deluxe & Elite.
3) Avaya’s Audix Voice Mail.
4) Avaya’s Map 40 Server for IVRS.
5) Nice Logger for recording of Voice Calls
6) Familiar with Davox Predictive Dialers.
7) Familiar with Nortel Meridian 11 c

· Above carried out for the Central Railway at their computerised Passenger Reservation Systems Mumbai, M.T.N.L. at their various exchanges , Indian Air Force ,Indian Airlines,CMC Computers Ltd. ,Spanco Systems etc.

· Passed Diploma in Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication in winter 1999 from Bharti Vidyapeeth Institute of Technology, Navi Mumbai.
· Passed HSC in the year 1993 from GDM junior College, Sion.
· Passed SSC in the year 1991 from Karthika High School, Kurla.
