Description: The proposed digital micro-controller transducer for liquid measurement is based on optical fibers from which cladding is removed in suitably spaced zones at known distances. The adopted hardware and software strategies have low cost, high static and dynamic performance, good reliability and a possibility of remote control. These features were confirmed by the experimental tests carried out on gasoline.
