I am working in well-known government organisation – M/s. Qatar Petroleum, Doha - Qatar as a “General Technician – Electrical.

Recently I am working in NGL-4 project. Where I am involving in daily activities of electrical equipment erection, pre-commissioning & testing of equipment. Also I involved in testing of ‘GE’make protective relays like Motor management, Feeder management, Generator Management Relays using computer laptop & current / voltage injection kit. Pre-commissioning of ‘ABB’ make SWBD & SWGRs, SF6 Gas CB, Vacuum CB / contactor, ACBs, ‘Hyundai’ make Distribution Transformers, ‘Chloride’ make Battery charger and UPS, Annunciation mimic, Normal / Emergency lighting panel, Master & slave PLC.

Day to day work progress report preparation in PC for sub-station and field activities like cable laying & termination, field DB connection for power supply to local instrumentation, process analyzers, normal / emergency lighting. ‘Rotork’ make IQ-series MOVs pre commissioning work, etc

Sometime, attending daily meeting for work progress and planning.

I worked in area of NGL plants, AGR, SRU and utility plant as well as NGL storage, loading and tank farm for maintenance of different types of electrical equipment.

Preventive maintenance of equipment like 11KV, 3.3KV, 415volt distribution switchgears, Battery and battery chargers, 11KV oil transfer pump-motors, 3.3KV loading pump-motors for different NGL products, motor & diesel engine driven fire water pumps and its control panel, diesel generators, U.P.S., different logically operated MOVs, Jetty equipment like NGL product loading arms operating systems, EOT crane, Navigation lighting, rope handling system, etc.

Preventive Maintenance of GEC Alsthom, ABB and other brand of HT motors, Loher and other brand of LT motors, Marlin Gerin and other brand of HT & LT distribution switchgear and switchboard.

Monitoring of substation equipment, protective relays and alarms and necessary corrective action, report preparing and maintenance history keeping in card as well as in Personal Computer. Schedule making for preventive and shutdown maintenance referring operation & maintenance program of area network computer system.

Operation and maintenance of Gutor, Coredel, Sabnife make UPS and other portable UPS utilized for Personal Computers, process laboratory instruments like Gas Chromatograph, etc.

I am also aware with maintenance of EOT crane, gas compressor’s auxiliaries and lubricating package system, process field & building lighting, level gauge lighting, heat tracing line, 110V, 230V and 415V socket outlets.

Maintenance of HVAC with contract people and regularly monitoring of system for central control room, analyser room, local equipment room, and electrical substations area.

Modification and corrective action for pump-motor control operating system and necessary cable laying, dressing and connection. Installation of new SWGR component, replacement of faulty parts. Repairing and maintenance of ACB, VCB and SF6 circuit breaker’s closing / tripping mechanism

I can read and understand various electrical drawings and diagnoses faults and executes repairs as well as breakdown maintenance of different electrical equipment independently and during call-out also. Motor cables connection / disconnection, temporary lighting provision, emergency power supply arrangement for Instrumentation and Mechanical jobs in different classified filed.

Coordination with other department’s people and contract crews for job planning and execution.

I am aware with Halon gas fire extinguishing system and gas detection system. Also I am aware of different work permit system like cold, hot and confined space & vessel entry.

I worked with Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Co. Ltd, Bharuch, Gujarat – India as a Senior Technician – Electrical.

I worked in 2x25MW Captive Power Plant, 180MTH Steam Generator Plant, 300MTD Methanol Plant, 300MTD Acetic Acid Plant, and 60MTD Formic Acid Plant since beginning from project work.

I have experience in electrical field for installation, commissioning, testing, inspection, maintenance etc, for 2x25MW 11KV Turbine-Generator, 50MVA transformers, generator auxiliaries, generator control panel, protective relays etc. Also I worked with equipment like HT & LT SWBDs, SWGRs, circuit barkers like MOCB, VCB, ACB, HT/LT motors 40KVA ‘Fuji–Japan’ make UPS, 220V, 110V, 24V battery and battery charges, diesel generator sets for emergency power, lift elevator etc.,

Operation of TG sets like synchronizing, auto and manual voltage regulation, frequency control, protective relays and alarm monitoring and necessary action, fault tracing and rectification activities, preventive and shutdown maintenance of various types of equipment in for Turbine, Generator & Compresor auxiliaries installed in different hazard zones,

Sub station equipment handling, manual change over of 11KV, 3.3KV and 415V switchgear operation, isolation & restoration of power supply.
