Description :

This Project is being developed to cater to the Accident and Emergency Department of
Singapore General hospital. A&ECSS caters to all the departments of the Accident and
Emergency Department viz., Registration, Triage, Critical Care and Disposition or
Admission as Inpatient which involves generation of Bill or Allotting of Bed to the
patient. A&ECSS captures information that is sent from devices recording blood
pressure, temperature, saturation point of Oxygen through the serial port from Vital Signs
devices. A&ECSS also can log on to SAP R/3 for direct retrie for direct retrieval from
data stored in the SAP database through a SAP authorized Interface. A&ECSS also
receives messages through HL7 interfaces via ADT Messages.

A&ECSS is a mission critical application hence data integrity and accuracy of data is the
prime focus of A&ECSS. This application is developed using 3 tier architecture and
COM technology to enable easy scaling.
