Presently I am working on Govt. of India's funded project of INDIAN HERITAGE website (fully dynamic and database driven nothing is static in the website), in which all the data has been categorized and you can have the information about all the heritage of India. 2. E-Address Book (ASP and Access Database)

Users (anybody can be a user) of the site can maintain your personal/professional addresses on the WEB and accessible from anywhere in the world. Online Addition, Updation and Userid/password verification. Automatic Email Responders, Tell a Friend Features are a part of the site. Hosted on Free Windows NT Servers.

3. Regional Computer Centre, Chandigarh (A setup of NIC, Ministry of IT, Govt. of India)

At present the site is giving Information about RCC, different department, services offered etc. We are developing the site using (ASP and SQL Server), so that Results, courses available, details of courses like eligibility, fees, seats left, online seat reservation in different courses, details of projects developed by RCC, training programs etc. should be online. Download facility of the detailed list of courses (start date, fees, last date of application etc.) and a lot more things are there.

4. Aids Awareness and Education

I am working on with one more person, Whole of the site is using ASP and MS Access Database and also some are static pages. I am managing all Dynamic part using ASP + Database. This website is for spreading awareness about the AIDS, and also educating them about different doubts and facts and also making AIDS sufferers aware about what they can do, to busy them etc. Also one Doctor is there to whom People can ask Personal Queries online. (Under Construction)

5. Internet Contest (ASP and Access Database)

Developed a Contests module for Chandigarh based Software/Web Development company http://www.hellochandigarh.com. Their contest part on the site is a completely online. Which provides the facility for online new contest category (for e.g. Movies, songs, computers etc) addition, and question addition in different categories. Only users can participate in the contest. Questions generated on the basis of current contest no going on and if the user has given the correct choices only then we keep his record in the temporary winner database. After a week automatically winner is generated randomly from temp. winner database, the system automatically generates the next contest number.

Project Title: Inventory, Billing System and Accounting.

Client: Brooks Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Mohali.

Duration: 3 months.

Role: Designing, Coding, Implementation and maintenance.

Tools: Visual Foxpro.

Brief Description: System involves complete record keeping of the inventory of raw material, using that finished products are prepared by them only. And them full inventory system for the finished also. After that billing etc of the items sold to different parties, then the accounts management including the cash register, ledgers etc.

Project Title: Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS)

Client: State AIDS Control Society, Chandigarh.

Duration: 3 months.

Role: Designing, Coding, Implementation and maintenance.

Tools: Visual C++ / Visual Foxpro.

Brief Description: State Aids Control Society, Chandigarh. The Project is for AIDS awareness in the city using a toll free telephone no. 1097. Using this project people can get information about the AIDS, for e.g. how it spreads, precautions to be taken etc. If they have any personal query of 90 seconds then they can record it on the phone and is recorded on the computer in the form of WAV files and users get a unique registration number. The Doctors/Counselors can get the list of new queries, which they can reply, in a WAV file. The System works in 3 different languages i.e. Hindi, Punjabi and English and also 24 hours. It also gives the reports on no. of calls under different languages and under each option.

Project Title: Legal Cases Management System

Client: Bhakhara Bias Management Board (BBMB)

Duration: 5 months

Role: Designing, Coding and Implementation.

Tools: Visual Foxpro 6.0

Brief Description: Project deals with the record keeping and tracking the new, pending etc cases against BBMB by its employees or others in different courts. And also which advocates assigned which cases their fees status etc. It is for maintenance of the masters of Courts, Advocates, Case types and like this. Plus it also includes maintaining how many cases are pending, won or loose and lot of things like that.

Project Title: Context Module

Client: CIPL, Ghaziabad

Duration: 3 months

Role: Designing, Coding and Implementation

Tools: Visual Basic/Front Page/IIS

Brief Description: CIPL is a government laboratory for testing of drugs. Context module implements a search engine. It provides user with an interface where user can search database of HTML documents on the basis of strings. It also provides options for online editing of searched documents and generation of log files.

Project Title: Inventory Management System (Spare Parts)

Client: Indo Tibetan Border Police Force, Chandigarh

Duration: 5 months

Role: Designing, Coding and Implementation

Tools: Visual Basic

Brief Description: They are maintaining a large list of spare parts for the vehicles and parts are issued to different units. Proper procedure is followed for that i.e. requisitions, issues department wise etc. all that is managed. Plus they have the system of return of items that are damaged. They are having 3 steps for that i.e. declare them unserviceable/obsolete, then condemned and then auctioned only then that units are to be removed from the stock like this.

Project Title: Training Management System (TMS)

Client: Regional Computer Centre, Setup of NIC, MOIT, GOI.

Duration: 3 months.

Role: Designing, Coding, Implementation and Updating.

Tools: Visual Foxpro

Brief Description: TMS for the training division was developed in Visual FoxPro. TMS is used to generate the Monthly Training Schedule of courses to be conducted in the coming month and the dates of the different tests of the module are to be conducted, and when the course is going to be finished.

Project Title: Inventory/Tender/Billing Management System

Client: Grewal Electrical, Mohali.

Duration: 5 months

Role: Designing, Coding and implementing.

Tools: Visual Basic 6.0

Brief Description: They are big suppliers of electrical goods for the big buildings like cables like products. They have to fill the tender on the basis of rates and item codes prescribed by different big companies their items lists are with them and rates are to be quoted accordingly which is maintained by our system. Then their billing and payment system is done in %ages of the total cost of the project.

Project Title: Hotel Management System

Client: Hotel Town Pride.

Duration: 8 months.

Role: Team Leader

Tools: Visual Basic

Brief Description: System manages Booking Status i.e. Rooms Occupied/Available. Keep track of Advance and Current Booking. Also the orders, other billing of the rooms. Generates master bill of Guest any time. Manages the inventory of hotel. Detailed list of customers and their bill details also available whenever desired. Calculate Total Sales Itemwise and Total Income etc. Billing of Restaurant orders in under consideration.

Project Title: Question Paper Generation

Client: ACME College of Competitions, Chandigarh.

Duration: 2 months

Role: Designing, Coding and Implementing.

Tools: Visual FoxPro.

Brief Description: Deals in preparation for different competition examinations mainly for MBA and other competitive examination. They have to conduct papers for practice almost daily. They have a long list of questions of different difficulty levels like A, B and C chapterwise on different subjects e.g. English, Maths, GK etc. objective and subjective. Using this project they used to feed in the questions, subject, difficulty level. While generating the question paper (which picks up the questions randomly and a question never repeats in the same question paper) they have to select the Subject, Chapter, Level of Difficulty and no. of questions they want accordingly the system generates the paper for them and in the end on a separated sheet the Answer key for the above. And also creates a text file for them for the same paper and answer key on the disk for their future reference if needed.
