Computer Aided Analysis of Structures using Finite Element Method

The Finite Element Method is a powerful method, which can be used to arrive at fairly accurate solutions to a variety of engineering problems. This Application can be used to Analyze structures like Trusses, Beams, and Plates. It takes the coordinate values of the nodes, element connectivity and the Boundary conditions as Input and gives Node Deflection, Element Stresses and Reaction as Output. In this project I have employed this method for solving problems in Structural Mechanics. The results of the computer program are also used for studying the convergence properties of the fine meshes.
