· Developing a Claim Management System to track claims and deductions. Performed requirement analysis using CASE Tools such as Yourdon and DeMarco. Performed process analysis using UML.
· Design, developed and implemented Auto Vouchers Systems.
· Helped the client to fine-tune database queries.
Achievements
· Achieved a successful recognition from the client by creating an application to process multiple numbers of vouchers thus helped the client to save money.
· Completed the landmark project for watermark on the printed purchase orders. This enhancement has strengthened their relationship with vendors.

4/1996 - 11/1998 South Carolina Electric & Gas
· Extensive use of process analysis tools such as Yourdon and DeMarco, USE CASE and other UML tools.
· Fine-tuned stored procedures and triggers.
· Designed, developed and implemented FERC Forms & Reports, Coal Shipment interface etc. This was the part of big project known as ‘Fuel Management System FMS’. FMS was developed in Powerbuilder 3 and Sybase System 10.
· Designed, developed and implemented “Inventory Management System IMS”. IMS was an interface application between AMPS/DB2 and MAXIMO/Sybase System 10. IMS was developed in Visual Basic 4.0.
· Designed, developed and implemented an application to download the data from USGS. This was done in Visual Basic 5.0.

Achievements
· Fine-tuned FMS Fuel Exception Process to make it run in one less then one minute instead of 58 minutes.
· Automated the process to download data from USGS website.
· Created an interface for Inventory Issues and Returns thus helping the client to save money.

Training Consultant (Marketing)
· Designed a prototype financial application in client/server environment using Powerbuilder at the front-end and Sybase at the back-end running on a Window NT 3.5 platform.
· Designed a marketing information system for the campus market segment using the principles of marketing, sales and Information system that I had acquired through my MBA and my prior business experience. This project was developed on the basis of an innovative marketing strategy. I had proposed a new sales plan, which was designed and developed by me personally and named as “CAMPUS REP PLAN”. This plan operated on a unique cost cutting but very effective, result-oriented principle and resulted in a good market response.
