I have had the privilege to initiate the concept of Service Centre under the
Front Office department for the Hotel. I have been working and improvising
on it for a period of one year with the efficient assistance of a team of six
personnel. Working at the Service Centre incorporates a lot of guest dealing
on matters relating to various sub – departments such as housekeeping,
laundry, maintenance, health club, etc. This involves coordinating and
supervising the working of these sub – departments according to the
requirements of the guests. Besides this, handling and supervising guest
messages and incoming faxes are also an integral part of my job as a
Guest Service Officer. I also undertake responsibilities such as supervising
the staff at the Service Center in stock and inventory maintenance, report
maintenance, etc.
