PROJECT IN B.E. :Finger Print Recognition (software).

PROJECT DETAILS :
The purpose of this project was to develop scheme for automatic finger print recognition .The method used is extraction of features of the fingerprint and compare those features with the authenticated fingerprint. Image processing is a well developed and continously evolving field. Pattern recognition, which is one of its branches, classifies its numerical and symbolic data. Spatial domain methods are used for processing information. The information is made available. They are cleaned with the help of filters and then compared, stored, analysed as per requirements. The basic need of the finger print recognition is to get the image of the fingerprint. Preprocessing plays a very important role, which makes it easier to extract the features from then image. This software provides the user with the time needed to analyse and compare fingerprints.

EXPERIENCE : Presently as a lecturer in Govt. Women's Polytechnic, B.S.City, Jharkhand from 7th Sept.1999.

Worked as a visiting faculty for DOEACC 'O' & 'A' level classes at Indian School Of Information Technology from 10dec., 2000to 30th Sept 2001.
