Siemens being the main contractor for the Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW) Kuwait which has 4 district control centres, one national control centre which in turn controls 300KVA, 132KVA and 33KVA Electrical substations and power stations

* Erection & commissioning of communication voice frequency transmission equipments such as Siemens VFT 402, VFT 1000D, VFT 2000 & VFT 2000i used for transmission of superimposed telecontrol signal & telephone via underground cable (pilot cable), microwave & power line carriers (PLC).

* Erection & commissioning of power line carrier (PLC) equipments such as Siemens ESB400, ESB500 & ESB2000i equipments.

* Erection & commissioning of telephone exchange such as ATEA Omni 230, Siemens PAX VDZ etc.

* Troubleshooting of SIEMENS Microwave Radio & PCM equipment knowledge of alignment of microwave antennas.

* Played an active role in upgrading project of existing electrical control centres for power by planning, designing, erection and commissioning of complete communication network by connecting about 5 electrical power station and more than 100 electrical substations to the control centres.

* Involved in the maintenance & trouble-shooting of all the communication equipment by maintaining them every 3 months.

* Involved in the preparation of Weekly Report for the complete Communication Department which is then presented to the Ministry of Electricity & Water.

* Maintenance & trouble-shooting of Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) such as Siemens Sinaut 8 FW used for controlling all remote operations in the substation.

* Installation and commissioning of cable inter-trip equipment such as SWT 402 and SWT 2000i.

* Have worked as a team in many projects involving installation, errection, cabling, commissioning of different equipments having more than 20 people under me at a time.
