Synopsis of position:
To supervise all maintenance planner activities to include safety performance, maintenance job
Planning and scheduling to achieve equipment availability/efficiency goals, manpower
Performance, employee skill level development, industrial relations, and cost control.
Principal and essential jobs duties are:
Generate weekly plans for the mine maintenance & service departments
Generate three monthly maintenance plans
Provide feedback on performance against plans to Managers, area supervisors and fore persons
Generate long term plans (annual) for mine maintenance in liaison with the mining department
Attend regular meeting with the Production Department to discuss forthcoming plans and review the previous week maintenance plan
Initiate and chair regular planning & costing meeting
Modify Maintenance schedules in line with recommendations identified though failure analysis
Make regular review of s/parts holdings and ensure stock levels are adjusted to meet future
requirements.
Ensure job instructions and safety requirements are maintained on job sheets for all equipment
and assigned to responsibility
Ensure maintenance backlog is maintained, updated and managed
Maintain the Mainpac data base by developing and amending job packages, amending the
equipment and component registers are required, make recommendation on developing and
amending APL’s and working to ensure other staff and employees gain an appreciation of the
system such that in their limited usage, they ensure accuracy of input
Raise requisitions for parts pertaining to planned work
Create and Monitor annual budgets for department/equipment

Synopsis of position:
Setting and start up of Maintenance Planning models. To complete all assigned maintenance planning tasks assigned to include safety performance, maintenance job planning and scheduling to achieve equipment availability/efficiency goals by implemented the oil & vibration condition monitoring, data input coordination, coordination of parts procurement for planned work activities and cost control. Principal and essential jobs duties are :
Complete work safely to achieve ZERO (0) LTI’s, PD’s, and injuries
Generated planned jobs from equipment schedules with realistic time estimates and cost
estimates
Complete equipment inspections schedule prior to TA/PM interval to develop efficient plan
Develop equipment planned outage schedule for equipment on a weekly, monthly, yearly basis
Coordinate work to clerks to ensure all necessary equipment data is properly input into the
Mainpac software systems for equipment tracking Components and downtime hours, lube,
tires, etc
Implement action plans developed to increase the ratio of planned jobs to unplanned jobs for
equipment maintenance.
Coordinate input of equipment information as required on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

After spending 7 years education around Mechanical I have continued to implemented the skills in variance companies. My career was begun from Mechanical junior in the Local company. After many years of varied hands-on experience as a heavy equipment fitter, I progressed through the Staff Mechanical Maintenance levels . I have added more and more my knowledge in both Managerial and Technical time by time. My communication levels are high with good communications from the trade level through to management.
