A) Project activity

1.Evaluation of Technical specification.

3.Preparation of operating philosophy, scope/logic's design documents for Terminal automation system, Configuration of various interlocks as per operation requirement in DCS.

5.Erection / Installation of Instruments and panels.

Terminal Automation System (TAS) : The Terminal Automation System at Reliance consists of two AW51E servers running FoxTAS Applications & Utility software as well as performing the role of the FoxTAS Oracle database servers. These redundant servers are connected to a dual hosted RAID Array for data storage. These servers are also connected to the Foxboro Nodebus for interfacing to field devices such as BCUs, etc. The servers are also access TIS and OMIS informations through ‘Device Integrators’ connected between TAS and DCS nodes.
FoxTAS system is modular in architecture with closely inter-linked layers to provide the intended functionality. The layers are

The transactional database layer, which is ORACLE RDBMS.
The real-time layer that shall be based on the Fox I/A series DCS software.

The control module layer comprising of TASCON, RAILCON, TASSHIFT, TASTRXSRV, ACDTRXSRV, Host Interface (SAPDOWNUP), & TASMOVEMENT.

The Real time Graphical User Interface layer that shall be used by the terminal operators to control the loading operations.

TAS software has a layer that interfaces core modules with the following major systems:

The SAP interface software to the SAP system on the Business Server.
The Weigh bridge computers.
Large Panel Display Boards.
Access control Devices.
Tank Information System (TIS).
Oil Movement and Information System.

B) Foxboro IA series DCS

1.Involve in System configurations of Terminal Automation system and DCS.
