Feb 1999-Till date : ENGINEERS INDIA LIMITED (EIL) - New Delhi as Senior Engineer (Plant Operations and Safety Deptt.).

Area of Specialisation : Consultancy services for petrochemicals, refineries, gas processing plants and cross country pipelines in the areas of Process Design, Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPS), Risk Analysis and start-up/troubleshooting.

The major jobs handled by me during this period are as given below:

Design: Presently involved in Design activity of Offsite of 3.0 MMTPA CPCL expansion projects.
Well conversant with preparation of Equipment/Instrument Datasheets & Line schedule.
Extensive usage of HY-SIM software package operation.

DESIGN REVIEW: Expansion project

PLANT STARTUP: This includes review of vendor documents, prepation of operating manuals and maintenance manuals and providing assistance in the areas of precommissioning, commissioning, troubleshooting and guarantee run activities. Self was involved for carrying out the above said activities for the following plants:

Commissioning experience of 3.0 MMTPA Crude Distillation Unit Vacuum Distillation Unit in HPCL, Vizag expansion project.
Commissioning experience of Sour Water Stripper Unit, LPG Amine Treatment Unit in HPCL, Vizag expansion project.
Commissioning experience of 1.0 MMTPA Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU_I) (Licensor M/s EXXON Ltd.) Visakh Refinery Expansion project (VREP-II) of HPCL - India.
Engaged in Pre-commissioning activities Visbreaker unit (VBU),Visakh Refinery Expansion project (VREP-II) of HPCL - India.
Commissioned Air Compressor of IN-Situ Combustion Project of ONGC, Mehasana

Other Expertise: !ð Extensive usage of "HAZOP-PC" and "PHAWORKS"; Software packages developed by Primatech Inc. USA for carrying out HAZOP studies.
