It is a big vortal which provides all kind of information related to Electronic industry. It provides the information about the top websites of electronic industry, the latest electronic product in the market, the latest circuits of electronics, has the facility of registering new websites, having a broad search option, a product finder section where you will have the option of searching any kind of product related to electronic industry and much more facilities. It also has features of e-commerce where there is business to consumer e-commerce implemented.

ROLE PLAYED:

I worked as a team member and was involved in the development of the most of the sections of this Vortal along with the admin section.

(a) CIRCUIT ON SALE SECTION OF www.electronicsforu.com

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: It is an e-commerce project where there is business to consumer e-commerce implemented. It is related to the sale of electronic circuits online where the users can order the circuits selected and the same could be mailed to them. For this a payment gateway is taken from a company “Cyberspace” located at New Delhi.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: It is an e-commerce project where there is business to consumer e-commerce implemented. It is related to the sale of Electronics and IT magazine, published by Electronics For You, online where the users can order for the subscription of magazine for six months to five years duration. For this also the same payment gateway is used.

(e) DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT (Cylinder Monitoring System)

It is a system developed for Raymond Limited (Cement Division). It was an inventory system involving the receipt and issue of the “Cutting Gas Cylinders” used for Cement production. The company uses oxygen and D.A. Cylinders and I automated the whole system, which was manual before.

(e) CURRENT PROJECT:

Currently working on e-commerce projects where there is business-to-business e- commerce is implemented. It includes a complete system where the users can post their products(items) for sale and can post the request for quotes and can view the response of the same.
