Work Experience
Young Entrepreneurs- Quick Corp.: Worked in a teamwork environment under a high
school extra curricular activity program supported by the IBM, Malaysia. The
program requires a group of students to start a company from the scratch; devise
and manufacture original products for sale with the objective of profit in a
free market. A profit of RM1500 was made with an initial capital of RM 400.
Gained experience in designing products and manufacturing processes.
Meredith Hall Post Office: Gained experience in dealing with people, handling
their complaints and questions.


Awards and Achievements
Leadership: INTIMA Executive Committee, student government
Represented the American University Program at the student council and
functioned as part of the student government; organizing meetings, taking down
minutes, writing reports, organizing functions

Achievement: INTI Malaysian Red Crescent Society-Editorial Board
AIDS Awareness Publications and Public Relations Officer
Worked together closely in a team environment to plan and carry out an AIDS
Awareness campaign. Also wrote reports on the campaign for publication.

Achievement: Editor of INTIMALINK
Managed the college newsletter, INTIMALINK; planned and organized the layout and
content of the newsletter, delegated tasks to reporters.


Extracurricular Activities
Audio Engineering Board: Vice President; Managed and worked with the setting of
sounds and lighting system. Organized a fundraiser during the school open day.
Gained a profit of RM 450. This is a society that manages the high school audio
and light system.

English Language Society: Chairperson; Gained experience in starting and
managing a society in college.

Independent Election Committee: A committee elected by the Student Government
Board to oversee and organize the elections of the incoming student government.
Gained experience in negotiation, people skills and professionalism.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Purdue University: Newsletter Officer;
Layout and edit the ASME, Purdue University Newsletter (Spring 2000), Design
Officer; Organize and hold design competitions, Organize teams for design
competitions. (Fall 2000-Spring 2001)
