Responsibilities and activites as Project Engineer:
As a project Engineer, I am entrusted with the task
and responsibility of project monitoring in Gas based
Integrated Petrochemical complex.

Responsibilty includes:
Integrate equipment delivery and construction
activities such as monitoring and expediting work
progress, procurement etc., alongwith cost and
duration estimates of various project activities by
making use of PM Tools like PERT/CPM Network
scheduling. Implementing quality concept for better
system management and dynamic decision making.

Developement of Quality management system based on
concept of continious improvement and TQM. Making use
of various statistical Process control methods and
identification of unnecessary process and controls.

Digitization and documentation of plant database,
drawings, design data ana history card of all
equipments and utilising these database with inventory
control, material indenting & purchase, and also for
regular mainteneance and shut down planning.

Major Projects/ Assingment Completed:
# As a member of Task force for Gas Cracker
complex, I coordinated with our consultant, M/s
Engineers India Ltd. Delhi, Foreign Expert from M/s
Stone & Webster, USA., and various vendors enabling
timely completion of construction activities and
commisioning of plant, built at a cost of Rs. 1000
crores ( US$ 300 million).

# Developed quality system and quality manuals,
computerisation of documents and database, for
maintenance and inspection department on lines of ISO
9002:1994

Responsibilities and activites as Sr. Engineer (C&I):
As a Corrosion Engineer, I was entrusted with the
task and responsibility of troble shooting of
corrosion related problems in Gas based Integrated
Petrochemical complex.

Responsibilty includes:
* Selection of optimum material of construction for
a given service condition and the type of equipment.
* Trouble shooting and recommendation on material
processing, welding, fabrication, heat treatment,
manufacturing, inspection, quality control, quality
assurance and repair procedure.
* Assessment of 'Fitness for purpose of - Inservice
equipment process plant, like - Horton sphere, heat
exchangers, boilers, etc.
* Residual Life Assessment (RLA) of critical
equipment like pressure vessels, Horton Spheres, heat
exchangers, boilers, etc.
* Failure Analysis based upon advanced fracture
mechanics, and physical metallurgy principles.
* Corrosion control by inhibitors, inhibitor
testing, and cooling water treatment.
* Developement of Welding Procedure.
