Job Experience:
As a design engineer with previous engineering experience I was immediately put in charge of a design project on the Nimrod MRAH aircraft. Working along side other engineers as well as learns to work with engineers from British Aerospace. The Specific projects that I have been in charge of in my short time in Excelnet are;
· Transparencies – modeling of the Nimrod Windshield using CATIA Ver 4.19 Surfaces and directly in contact with design engineers in UK for feedback.
· Battery Box - complete scheming of proposed replacement for the Nimrod battery box up until the manufacture and integration of the actual design into the aircraft. Designed included of machine part, composite and lofted part.
· Design standard part such as bolts and nuts, and then put them into library in CAD.
· Wiring layout – using CATIA –E3D Module to design wire layout in battery box.
· Airstair – design mechanism part and do kinematics analysis.
