Responsibilities (Other than those listed above)

Joined Linde as Engineer-Piping in Feb 1997. At the beginning of 1999, I was promoted as “Senior Engineer-Piping” & beginning of current year I am promoted as “ Principal Engineer-Piping’. During this tenure, I worked as “Team Leader-Piping” for the below mentioned projects.

I was responsible for the Detail Design of the Plant using PDS,
Review of the Design (Overall & Line wise) by the team members using Design Review,
Approval of the design from the Client using Design Review Meetings at various stages of the project. I have also used the walk through feature of the Design Review Software.

The design review meetings for the following projects were held at Linde AG, Munich, Linde Australia, Sydney & Linde India, Baroda. I also had the chance to co-ordinate with International sub-contractors for Compressors, Turbines, Steam Reformer etc. in Germany, Italy, Australia & USA.

Projects Handled:

1) Hydrogen Plant for M/s. Reliance Petroleum Limited, Jamnagar Refinery Complex, India.
Areas include Compressor, Steam Reformer, Gas Cooling, Hydrogenation & Desuphurization, PSA & Pipe Rack.
2) Ammonia Plant for M/s. Queensland Ammonium Nitrate Pty. Ltd., Moura, Australia
Areas include Syngas Compressor, Steam Reformer, Gas Cooling, Hydrogenation & Desuphurization, PSA, Turbine, Ammonia Storage & Pipe Rack.
3) Ammonia Plant for M/s. WMC Fertilizers, Phosphate Hill, Australia
Areas include Syngas Compressor, Steam Reformer, Gas Cooling, Hydrogenation & Desuphurization, PSA, Turbine, Ammonia Storage & Pipe Rack.
4) Ethylene Purification Unit for M/s Chemplast Sanmar Ltd., Metturdam, India
