¨ Consulting, contracting, sales of large turnkey and EPC chemical projects in Process Engineering Segments such as Synthesis Gas Generation, Gas Processing, Cryogenic Gas separation, Cryogenic Storage Tanks, etc.

Proposal Manager, with Linde Process Technologies India Ltd. (Subsidiary of Linde AG – Process Engineering & Contracting Division, Germany) since October 1995.

§ Coordinate with engineering and project services groups for estimation of engineering man-hours, hardware cost and other inputs for technical proposal
§ Coordinate with contracts department for contract configuration and commercial proposal.

Professional Skills / Knowledge:

¨ Experience in selection of optimum process scheme for the synthesis gas and gas separation processes depending upon customers requirement
¨ Knowledge of various phases of contracting EPC/ turnkey jobs, activities involved in each of these phases, interfaces between various agencies and timely completion of proposal document.
¨ Experienced in preparation of project cost and price estimation including reviewing, and checking the costs of individual items.
¨ Knowledge of various contracting configuration for Foreign engineering & supply
¨ Knowledge on global sourcing of plant equipment and material.

Abroad Assignment:

¨ Deputed for a period of 1 month as Proposal Manager at our parent company, Linde AG, Munich, Germany – in connection of the preparation of proposals for two big Naphtha Reforming based Hydrogen Generation Plants for Indian Refineries. Assignment was for the following aspects.
· To have a closer co-ordination for the proposal work
· Decide the scope of work between Principal & Local Partner, to make the overall proposal competitive on the client end.
· Convince the Principal about the capability / availability of local manpower and capability of local vendors such as equipment, reformer fabrication, etc.
· Work out a best proposal execution schedule

Approximately, four years of experience (From October '91 to October '95) as Process/Shift Engineer for the following plants.
¨ Synthesis gas plant at Indo Nissan Oxo-Chemicals, Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
¨ Aromatic plant at Hindustan Nitro Products Gujarat Limited, Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
¨ Fine chemical plant of Penta Erythritol and Sodium Format at Kanoria Chemical Limited, Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India.
