I am a Chartered Accountant having solid experiences in Finance, and Administration. I have been working as a Financial Controller in the petroleum based American joint venture company in Saudi Arabia. The name of this company is Western Atlas Arabia Ltd. (now Baker Atlas, a subsidiary of Baker Hughes, which is one of the top three oil well, related companies of the world. The local partner is one of the famous industrialists, Sheikh Abdulla Al Rushaid. I have been working with this group since last seven years approximately.

I have also solid experiences in 5 star hotel industries, Advertising Services ( Ad World) and Audit Firms including Cost Audits for more than 20 years. I worked in several Five Star Deluxe Hotels in India and abroad. I worked also with world class famous chain like Oberoi Hotels and Holiday Inn International Hotel Chain. I was also holding a very senior position in the head office of M/ S. Clarion Advertising services Ltd. that was the 2nd largest Advertising Agency during my period. I have also mastered the technique of auditing as I was engaged several years with M/s Ray & Ray Chartered Accountants' firm and A. R. Banerjee & Co, Cost Audit Firm.
&statutory audits and American based joint venture ( oil ) companiy in Saudi Arabia. I have also worked in Baghdad , Iraq for more than 3 years.

EXPERIENCES

May 97 to June 2000 - Western Atlas Arabia Ltd., Baker Atlas a subsidiary company of Baker Hughes.

Job Description:

Day to day co-ordination with operation activities, advising the general manager about the trend of business as compared to budget, plan and the possibilities of attaining the management targeted sales. Identifying the weaknesses of various fields and convening management meetings to take appropriate actions.
Daily monitoring cash flow position and accounts receivables to restrict the number of days sales as desired by the management.
Monitoring bank overdraft and short term loan facilities and repayment in time in order to avoid extra interest payment. Looking at the future cash flow position, capital budget, business volume and orders bank loan limits are sometimes required to be enhanced. Therefore, all necessary formalities are complied with well in advance in order to have smooth operation.
Monthly reporting of various financial reports to Houston e.g. Balance sheet, profit loss account, cash flow, critical technology report, report on personnel movement and new recruitment etc.
Monthly Payment to Houston on account of various obligations and technical reporting to management.
Arranging funds to pay half yearly dividends and managing fund flow accordingly.
Managing personnel, administration and government relation activities on a daily basis.
Monitoring Import and Export activities
Control of Capital expenditures according to yearly approval.
Conducted internal, statutory and tax audits
Engaged in half yearly board meetings and attended also.
Preparation of Annual and Half yearly Budgets and analysis of variances & taking appropriate actions.
Processing visas and employment contract , international ticketing as per the local law
Handling legal matters and personnel matters
Stock Control as per A.B.C analysis method.

May 94 TO April 97 - Al Jubail Holiday Inn, Jubail, Saudi Arabia ( Now, Al Jubail Inter Continental Hotel)

Worked in Al Jubail Holiday Inn , Five star super deluxe hotel having 300 rooms, 4 restaurants, Bowling Alley, Squash, Tennis Court, Jacuzzi, and Sauna. Health Club, two swimming pools and a large family beach. Spread over on 44 acres of land. The owner of the hotel is Sheikh Abdullah Rushaid Al Rushaid, the famous industrialist in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and he is the owner of 30 major industrial companies and this Group is one of the top most industrial houses in the kingdom. This hotel was being managed by the Holiday Inn World-wide Brussels, Belgium and its head quarters is in Atlanta, USA.
