GASCO, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has awarded a pre-FEED studies and FEED contract to Bechtel for the OGD-III & AGD-II Project. The purpose of this project is to extract NGLs from Thamama F gas at Habshan (OGD-III) and Thamama F and G gas at ASAB (AGD-II) for transfer by pipeline to Ruwais for fractionation. It is intended to recover 4,800 tpd of ethane and ~4,300 tpd propane (99+%) in total from the two developments. All lean gas and acid gas will be re-injected. However there will be periods when ethane will be rejected to the lean gas but propane recovery will be maintained at 99+% for export sales.
· Deputed to LONDON – United Kingdom at Bechtel LONDON office for above-mentioned project.
