Description: This application was developed as a part of larger application to enhance the collection of property tax in the municipal. This survey application formed the base for the application to be developed. The properties or the builtups were identified and linked to the geodatabase using this application. This application acted as a link between the spatial and non-spatial attributes of the builtups. The database thus prepared was able to calculate and generate notices for all the properties, which either faked their area or did not pay the taxes.

This application was developed as a pilot project and was widely acclaimed. This project was of such a huge importance for the Karnataka government that it found a place in the cover story of Business Today.

The future projections of the galleries could be easily envisaged, also the over ground development of the mining area could be carried out efficiently regarding aforestation and relocation. The package was customized with the help of AutoCAD 2000 and the tools were developed in LISP. Each tool had an icon for which changes could be carried out following the instructions. The package was very user friendly and was widely accepted.
