3. Company Profile: This Company is involved in fabrication, galvanizing & erection of parts of Transmission line towers & sub-stations on turn key basis. Under the flagship of Gammon Group it is growing at a rapid pace. Situated in Savli – a small town near Vadodara district of Gujarat, it’s a small-scale industry and was established in 1995. Its main clients are Power grid Corp. Of India Ltd. and almost all State Electricity Boards.
4. Department & Work Profile: Quality Assurance: - My responsibilities included carrying out galvanizing control tests & inspection of raw materials
5. Involvement/Achievement: Apart from the regular duties, my contribution to the company can be summarized as below:
 Made one computer program in ‘C’ programming language to facilitate the “ Mass of Zinc Coating Test ” and thus to speed up the testing procedure.
 Started the project to correlate the “Time of Dipping” to “Thickness Of Zinc Coating Achieved” so that in addition to getting the uniformity in galvanized product, cost of manufacturing can also be reduced.
 Proposed ‘Cooling Tower’ for Quenching Tank for enhanced quality of product. This was accepted & carried out later.
 Proposed & designed the method of heating the Flux Tank so as to bring down the manufacturing time.
 Changed the way of stacking the finished materials in yard for ease & better traceability

5. Involvement/Achievement: My involvement & contribution can be briefly depicted as follows:
 Designed & developed the Plug for Condenser fan Motor to prevent the water inclusion in it.
 Developed seal for Rear speaker of ‘Corsa’ to prevent the vibration & noise during running of vehicle.
 Completed the Value Engineering Suggestion Scheme in record period of time.
 Was involved in “Ride & Handling Assessment” testing of forthcoming Utility Vehicle Of General Motors- Chevrolet Tavera.
 Was Involved in Acceleration testing of Corsa SAIL, SWING & Chevrolet TAVERA. Also did the whole documentation.
 Reprogrammed various Electronic Control Modules (ECMs) for Chevrolet Optra.
