Indent System

Summary :
This is the modification of an earlier System made by TGK India Ltd.The earlier system is too slow to operate and contains lots of duplicate items which degrades the performance of the system.The new system is very much user friendly and much more faster than the original system.It contains the catalogues of different items and a unknown user can make his indent easily.It will be a major achievement under the SCL's six sigma policy.


Barcode Tracking System

Summary :
This system is made for Samtel Color Ltd Plant#2.This is a online CPT Tracking
System. There is a Barcode Sticker on every CPT. That Sticker is scanned by Various Scanners and the testing Result of Different tubes alongwith Barcode Id is sent to Database through some Interfaces. This system is being made by Allen Bradely along with Samtel Color Ltd Engineers. I was involved in designing the Database and also Written Procedures and Database Triggers for Transactions.

Preventive Maintenance System

Summary :
Preventive Maintenance is the most common maintenance practice today. This means that maintenance is doing work that may not be necessary and replacing parts that still have useful life. This wastage of resources was considered a cost of doing business and did little to contribute to the bottom-line of an organization.
Another issue with Preventive Maintenance is that it is time-based. Studies conducted by the airline industry have shown that over 80% of equipment failures are not age related. Therefore, trying to solve maintenance problems with time-based solutions will only be effective less than 20% of the time.

Spare inventory System

Summary :
The Maintenance Department of the company needs to keep track of the Spares being used by their department. The records need to be updated and inventory needs to be build up. According to the available stock and reorder value of the spare, indents are to be passed. They also need to keep track of the persons who are forwarding requests for the spares. This system facilitates the department to maintain a check over the consumption and availability or records for future reference.

Sub-store System

Summary :
The objective of the system was to create a separate database from store database. This system made for Maintenance Planning Cell. This system keep track information about parts which are using in equipment of production line. It also shown to user about reorder value of parts and maintain daily records.

Calibration Record System

Summary : The objective of the system was to create a separate database for the Calibration Lab in the plant. This system has information about equipments which has to be calibrated. The record history of each equipment is maintained in the database.This system contains reports which makes the user aware of the pending list of equipments and also shows the details taken during the observation of the equipment.
