Heading a multi-dimensional polytechnic college which is a totally autonomous institution and a part of Nirma Educational Research Foundation and the Nirma University of Science and Technology. The polytechnic college has six engineering programmes and one programme in information
technology. It also has tie-ups with McCaster and Mohawk Universities of Canada. The polytechnic has six engineering departments and a information technology department. It has an intake of 420 diploma students per annum using a multi point entry system.

Currently involved in introducing electrical engineering as a new engineering discipline in the polytechnic.
I have begun to inculcate a systems approach to education and have initiated steps to introduce an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) based system for Nirma University of Science & Technology which has four institutions including the Nirma Institute of Management.
