Design, Erection and commissioning of 20 TPD Neodymium Oxide Manufacturing Plant.
Accomplishments:
Design of the PULL based Neodymium Plant used Q.F.D to capture and incorporate various external and internal customer requirements into the design. (We considered external customer needs in terms of physical and chemical specifications of the product, packaging, internal customer needs such as human factors with respect to Operation and Maintenance, Process Plant layout, material handling requirements, part standardization and reduction of logistic delay.)

Conducted several robust parameter design (RPD) experiments to de-bottleneck operations and optimize process: Eg: Drastically Reduced lump formation in Spin flash dryer , Optimized the performance of Solvent Extraction Unit.

Process Development for the Solvent Extraction based Plant for Uranium.

Accomplishments:
Design of the Batch size was based on a mathematical model developed to minimize occupational exposure to workmen

Operations at the Uranium Production Plant
Accomplishments:
Process flow synchronization
Application of GMPs in Solvent extraction units.
Introduced SPC and use of Process capability.
Conducting robust parameter design experiments to make the process robust against variations
Use of supportability analysis to monitor and enhance reliability of equipments and operations.
Fool-proofing Operations against human errors of omission and commission.
