Description

Derivatives Trading and Settlement System (DTSS) is an online trading System developed by CMC Limited for BSE, Bombay, India. The Project provides facility to trade in the Derivatives (Index Futures and Option Trading). This system lets Brokerage Firms to place orders on the basis of the rate of index for some future date. The Trading part along with accepting and matching transactions also maintains and manipulates the Exposure on potential trade basis for the incoming transactions. The system involves development of a Real time application in Sybase 12.x on Unix (HP-UX 11.0) using C and Sybase Replication Server 11.5.

Market Operation(MOPS) is the Software Package which controls the flow and parameters of Derivatives Trading and Settlement System(DTSS).

Responsibilities:
Involved in Development and testing of Data window control, Power builder
Foundation Classes(pfc) and Window API.

In TATA Consultancy Services Noida (On deputation from CMC ltd), worked as a team member for the project “Employee and Individual customer “ from August ‘2002 to Dec ‘2002.

Employee and Individual customer (EIC) is one of the Module in the application Marketing System Plan(MSP) of US DEMAND IT Project.

The EIC system will provide the unique identification of medical professionals (e.g. physicians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, registered pharmacists, etc) and employees in which sales and marketing is interested. This system contains the mechanisms to maintain medical professional demographic information, DEA verification information, medical education number, state license number, and influential product and person information.

The system involves Testing and Document creation of a real time application for Pharmaceutical firm (U.S. based) in Power builder 7.0,DB2,JCL & SAS on IBM mainframe.

Responsibilities:
Involved in Development and testing of EIC Module. EIC Module consist of
on-line database maintenance using power builder & DB2 using IBM-Mainframe environment.

Description:
During the actual transfer of share certificates there can be some Bad Deliveries of Share Certificates, which do not match the criteria of the trade. Bad Delivery System is designed to address this issue. There are two modules of the software. The module at the Broker's Office is a single user module, built in Fox-Pro2.6. Using this module the Broker enters Bad Delivery Details. The other module at the Bad Delivery Cell is a multi user module. Using this module Bombay Staff Exchange technical staff gets data in a flat file and loads the data into the back end Sybase database. The Back End Software then processes the objections raised by the Brokers, validates them, and generates various reports. It also provides Master maintenance and downloading facilities. The Uploading/Downloading software is built in Windows SDK.
