Description:

ORBIT is a secured intranet application, which facilitates Citibank to act as Custodian Broker for its Customers. RBS is a Visual Basic based Thick Client Front End Software used by all the Financial Centers for Investments. RBS Brokerage Server communicates to ORBIT via RAD in SWIFT Messages. All messages are routed to RAD, which in turn transmits the requests to the ORBIT Business Layer.

The Business Layer processes these requests and responds back to RBS via RAD. ORBIT uses RAD as a Communication and Message Engine. This Server currently routes all the Investments related requests to the HOST. With the advent of ORBIT this component will be modified to route all Investment Transactions to ORBIT via RAD.

My Role:

Description:

Chesapeake Settlement and Distributing Services is a distributor of automobile Spare components to its customers concentrating on Purchasing from the Retailer and Distributing the same to the customers. The system is an automated integration of various departments in the company on which the Part of the project consists of details oriented with Customer Transaction, Integration of various departments such as Sales, Marketing, Purchase, Inventory, QMS, and Order processing from the centralized database.

My Role:

Building an interactive Purchase Order Report allowing the purchase department to review purchase orders by vendors and be able to drill down to a particular purchase order and view the details by calling the PO Details screen (ME23) from within the purchase report. The report allowed the user to select multiple vendors and view their purchase orders. The report used EKKO, EKPO and LFA1 tables.
Creation of BDC for uploading Vendor Master details from legacy system to SAP Tables, by identifying all screens, fields and function codes and finally submitting the BDC table to the system using Call Transaction procedure and session method
Creation of Transaction screens, codes on Functional modules using ABAP workbench, Data Dictionary, Screen and Menu painters.
Developing other reports for Movement Wise Material Documents Transfer & Stock Valuation using Sap script

Created reports in SD module such as Sales Order Report, which covers all organization levels, delivery status, invoice status and shipping Details. The data was extracted from VBAP VBPA, VBAK, VBFA, KNA1, LIPS, MARA and KONV tables.

Created report lists for the gross sales, credit returns, gross weight for the customer for the current year and comparing the same time that of previous year for same period. The data was selected from KNVV, info-structure SOO1 and S901, BKPF, BSEG and MARA.

Created an interactive report for displaying customer information. Based on selection made the corresponding customer bank details are listed such that the line selected in the basic list was visible with the secondary list.

This is a secured intranet application, which facilitates the customers of Citibank to trade on securities. The system has the following functionalities.

a) Order Processing

The Citibank Sales Desk (Luxembourg, Monaco, London) allows the customer to place a buy/sell order for particular scrip at a specified market. Also provides the choice of selecting order types viz. Market, GTC, etc.

As the next step the Citibank Dubai Trading Desk (Dubai) views the Orders in the blotter screen, and places the orders with WPG/SSB system based on the Security type. When the broker confirms the execution the blotter screen has a facility to capture these execution details, once these execution details are recorded in Orbit the customer’s position gets updated accordingly.

On confirmation from the Custodian the customers Account are credited/debited accordingly and the banks/brokers account is debited/credited by the back- office

(E-Serve) located in Chennai.

b) All Corporate Actions both Voluntary and Involuntary are handled by the system.

c) System generates Advices in the Customer's preferred language for every transaction.

d) The system facilitates the calculation of Safe Keeping charges.

e) The system also calculates the Interest Accrued for every Bond maintained in the

System.
