A PERSONAL PROFILE

My self Raghavender Rao Desai is hard working , sincere and was a meritorious student all through my academic career.

My aptitude has been in analytical chemistry, which I had specialized in my Master’s degree. I have devoted most of my career in gaining practical knowledge and experience in this field, where my performance has been rated to be exception by my peers.

Besides my regular routine involving analyses on HPLC, GC, IR, UV etc., for method developments and validations, I make it point to constantly put efforts in self-development and enhancement of understanding. For this purpose, I try to look into the latest developments in my area of work, besides attending work-shops, seminars, symposia etc. Whenever the opportunity arises.

During my present professional experience of six years, I have worked for some of the premier pharmaceutical companies in India viz. “Virchow Laboratories Limited”, gvk-bio sciences. Presently I am working at the “gvk-bio” a drug discovery company, which is mainly focused on contract research to foreign customers.

Having studied chemistry five years, and having spent six years in the pharmaceutical field, I have developed good understanding, enthusiasm and zeal to look innovatively at analytical problems for finding solutions.

For success, I personally feel it is important to have three things viz.clear understanding of objects clear strategy and planning for systemic execution. I have always implemented this in my profession with great success.
